Luck pillars — your ten-year cycles
Luck pillars divide a life into ten-year periods, each with its own character and an exact first year. You are inside one now. Enter your birth date and the calculator draws all of them — including how far through the current one you are.
An example — someone born 1990-04-12. Yours takes about ten seconds.
You didn't change. The chapter did.
- We read the years you have already lived — and describe them.
- You decide whether it is right. You lived them; nobody has to take our word for it.
- Only then do you pay, and only for the part you cannot check yet.
Free. No signup, no email, no card. Ten seconds, and you can leave with it. And no questions about you — anyone can be right after asking. Being right from a date alone is the entire point.
Your birth date, and nothing else.
Where the ten years come from
The cycles are generated from the month pillar of your birth chart, stepping forward or backward through the sexagenary sequence — the direction depends on your year stem and your sex at birth. The age the first one begins at is set by the distance from your birth to the nearest solar term, which is why two people born days apart can enter their cycles years apart.
Why the start years are exact
Nothing about a luck pillar is vague: each one begins in a specific year and runs ten. What changes on that year is not an event — it is the conditions. The pressure that shaped the last stretch stops applying and a different one starts, and it takes most people a year or two to notice the ground moved. That is the sensation this page's headline is about: the feeling that the last few years had a character of their own. They did, and it has an end date.
Reading a cycle against the chart
A pillar is not good or bad on its own. The same decade reads differently depending on what it brings to your chart — whether it supplies what the chart is short of or piles onto what it already has too much of, and whether it runs with your day master or pulls against it. That is what the reading above is doing when it describes the years you have lived: it is reading each cycle against your chart, not reciting the cycle's name.
